Tillerson to meet Russian counterpart

G-20 foreign ministers - including newly installed US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who is expected to meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov - gather for a meeting in the German city of Bonn today.

The first meeting between the two men comes as Russian officials appear increasingly concerned at the shift in US rhetoric, which dampens hopes that President Donald Trump will drop sanctions against Moscow.


Dispelling myths on organ donation

An event will be held today to raise awareness of organ donation among tertiary students. Organised by the National University Hospital in partnership with the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Outlast Yourself, Support Organ Donation event to be held at NUS University Town will feature a forum to dispel myths and inspire undergraduates to be ambassadors for organ donation. A treadmill run will also raise funds for transplant patients.


Initiatives to boost local F&B sector

Following the recent unveiling of the Food Services Industry Transformation Map and the Committee on the Future Economy's report, Spring Singapore and the Singapore Productivity Centre will be introducing a series of new programmes tailored for micro enterprises in the food and beverage sector.

To kick-start the initiatives, an industry sharing session titled Turning Passion Into Profits will be held today.
