NUS forum on 4th Industrial Revolution

The Tembusu College of the National University of Singapore (NUS) will be conducting a forum today on "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Singapore". The term generally refers to a technological revolution that builds on the current digital age and blurs the lines between physical and digital realms.

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Tommy Koh, rector of the college and Singapore's Ambassador-at-Large.


CapitaLand's financial results for 2017

CapitaLand will announce its financial results for last year before the start of trading today.

Analysts expect the property giant to report stable earnings in the fourth quarter despite an anticipated double-digit fall in revenue.


Verdict on Park confidante

A Seoul court is set to deliver its verdict today on the woman at the centre of a corruption scandal that led to the removal of former president Park Geun Hye from office last year.

Choi Soon Sil, Park's long-time friend and confidante, has been charged with more than 18 counts of corruption, including abuse of power, coercion and bribery. Prosecutors have demanded a 25-year prison sentence.
