Peruvian President to meet Trump

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski will meet United States President Donald Trump at the White House today, making him the first Latin American leader welcomed by Mr Trump, the Peruvian government said.

Likely to be on the agenda is Peru's request for the extradition of former president Alejandro Toledo, who has been charged with graft and is believed to be in the US.


Eco charity bazaar at City Square Mall

An EcoBank Bazaar, where carefully curated pre-loved, or second-hand, items are on sale to raise funds for The Children's Charities Association of Singapore, will be held at 3pm today at the City Square Mall, B1 Fountain Square. The bazaar is being held as part of a national zero-waste initiative by City Developments Limited and Eco-Business.


Data on January's factory output

Singapore's industrial production figures for January will be released today, with analysts predicting that the electronics sector will maintain its recent bounce. This comes after factory output in December last year surged 21.3 per cent year on year - the strongest showing since December 2011. According to a median forecast of 12 analysts polled by Reuters, last month's output is expected to be up by a more modest 8.4 per cent.
