Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said a charge sheet against former premier Najib Razak was prepared by former attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail in 2015 before he was promptly placed on early retirement. In a transparency report, Facebook said the Singapore Government made 244 requests to the social media giant for information covering 310 accounts in the second half of last year. Facebook complied with 70 per cent of the requests.

$1.2b for Holland Road site

A consortium led by Far East Organization has been awarded a plum commercial and residential site in Holland Road, with a winning bid of $1.213 billion. The Urban Redevelopment Authority, which awarded the 99-year leasehold site yesterday, said the winning bid was the highest of the five shortlisted tenderers for the dual-envelope tender.

Celtics on route to NBA Finals

LeBron James had 42 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, and the Cleveland Cavaliers led the Boston Celtics by 11 points, but it still was not enough to secure a win. The Celtics won 107-94 in Game 2 on Tuesday, taking a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals. Boston need just two more wins to make their first appearance in an NBA Finals since 2010.

New series for Scrubs star

Actor Zach Braff from the comedy Scrubs is back in a new comedy series, Alex, Inc. He plays radio producer Alex Schuman, who ditches his job to start a podcasting network. The series is loosely based on Alex Blumberg, who created the podcast StartUp.
