White House's tactics could make impeaching Trump more likely

The White House's counter-attack on the impeachment inquiry launched by the Democratic Party against President Donald Trump - saying it is unconstitutional and thus the President and the White House will ignore it - is essentially a declaration of war.

The impasse - with the White House ignoring subpoenas for documents and witnesses - in effect, pits the powers of Congress against the executive branch, setting up a potential constitutional crisis.
