Primary voting has begun in Wisconsin, where Senator Ted Cruz hopes to emerge as the alternative to leading Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders is looking to gain ground on Hillary Clinton.

After a 10-day break, the primary race continued on Tuesday (April 5) in Wisconsin, with both the Republican and Democrat front runners seen as underdogs to the other candidates.
