Ukraine phone call has put Trump on shaky ground

President Donald Trump is facing new scrutiny this week over reports that he had urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a July 25 phone call, to investigate former vice-president Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, over allegations of corruption.

The Washington Post and New York Times, citing unnamed administration officials, said the call occurred soon after the administration decided to delay close to US$400 million (S$550 million) in military aid to Ukraine.
