US President Donald Trump has tightened the screws on China with new tariffs.

China swiftly announced it would retaliate with tariffs of 5 per cent and 10 per cent on about 5,200 US products to take effect on Monday - the same day the new US tariffs kick in. The tariffs will affect US$60 billion worth of US goods.
