WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump may well lose the popular vote again in 2020, and yet win the presidency, contends Stanford professor Larry Diamond, whose latest book is ominously titled Ill Winds.

"I think he has a very good chance of being re-elected; most political scientists feel he is well situated for the 2020 election simply because right now the economy is doing well," Dr Diamond told The Straits Times.
