US President-elect Donald Trump says if Russia's Putin likes him, it'll be considered an asset and not a liability, adding that while he hopes to get along with Putin 'there's a good chance I won't'.

UNITED STATES (REUTERS) - In his first formal news conference since July, US President-elect Donald Trump says if Russia's Vladimir Putin likes him, it'll be considered "an asset, not a liability".
He said he hopes to get along with Putin, but added there's a good chance he won't.
Trump also said he has no dealings with Russia and no loans with the country.
