United States President Donald Trump and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi put on show an apparently special relationship at a raucous rally for 50,000 Indian Americans in Houston on Sunday.

The two leaders heaped praise on each other and struck common notes on border security and terrorism - issues that resonate with both their political bases.
