UNITED STATES (REUTERS) - The press makes US President Donald Trump appear more uncivil than he actually is, Trump told the press on Wednesday (Oct 25).
"People don't understand. I went to an Ivy League college, I was a nice student, I did very well. I really believe, I think the press creates a different image of Donald Trump than the real person," Trump said, referring to himself in third person.
Trump has repeatedly called the press the enemy of the American people. He uses the term "fake news" to cast doubt on news reports critical of his administration, often without providing evidence to support his case.
