Thaw in US-China trade ties, but American farmers stay cautious
Many prefer to await details of phase one trade agreement and its implementation
The US Treasury's move to take China off its list of currency manipulators, two days ahead of the signing of a phase one trade deal, while largely symbolic, is being seen as indicative of a thaw in US-China trade ties.
At least it was early news of one aspect of the much-awaited deal, whose details remain unknown.
