Several Bills targeting China reflect growing hawkishness in US Congress

A number of Bills targeting China, on issues ranging from its suppression of Muslim minority Uighurs to its designs on Hong Kong and Taiwan, are pending in the United States Congress, many of them proposed in recent weeks.

And while the odds that they will eventually be passed into law may vary, the wave of proposed legislation reflects the mood in Congress, across party lines, that America's weak spots need to be fixed and China's vulnerabilities need to be targeted.
