WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - The White House said on Wednesday that it was aware of reports of the death of Taleban leader Mullah Omar and believed that the reports are "credible".

White House spokesman Eric Schultz said the United States intelligence community are still looking into the reports.

Afghanistan said the elusive leader of the Taleban movement died more than two years ago.
