North Korea's medium-range missile test yesterday underscored the reality that Pyongyang, while not rolling back its nuclear weapons capability, has normalised testing of weaponry short of nuclear and long-range missile tests.
And its timing, just ahead of a resumption of talks with the United States, shows that North Korea has its own way of upping the ante, analysts say.
