WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - President Barack Obama hosted his final musical event night at the White House on Friday (Oct 21).

"This event may be called 'Love and Happiness'," he said, "but much to your sadness and regret I will not be singing Al Green this evening."

"I will be honest, this is one of the parts of the jobs that I will miss most." he said.

Performers will include Usher, Jill Scott, Common, The Roots, Bell Biv DeVoe, Janelle Monae, De La Soul, Yolanda Adams, Michelle Williams and Kiki Sheard.
