Donald Trump signals shifting expectations of Trump-Kim summit

WASHINGTON - US President Trump was holding his own cards close to his chest even as he credited his friend, China's President Xi Jinping, with being a "world class poker player".

Asked on Tuesday (May 22) what his conditions were for meeting with North Korean leader Mr Kim Jong Un in Singapore on June 12, Mr Trump, sitting alongside visiting South Korean President Moon Jae In, replied: "I'd rather not say. But we are working on something. And, you know, there's a chance that it will work out."
