Court records show that Bill Cosby has dropped the defamation lawsuit against supermodel Beverly Johnson.

Johnson had accused the comedian of drugging her during the 1980s.

His attorney stated that Cosby made the move to focus on his defence in a criminal case in Pennsylvania, where he is charged with drugging and sexually assaulting a former Temple University employee in 2004.
