Twin blasts at Somali beach cafe, casualties feared: Police

MOGADISHU (AFP) - Two heavy explosions rocked a restaurant on the popular beachfront of Somalia's capital Mogadishu on Friday, with casualties feared in the blasts, police said.

"There was a heavy explosion, and then a short time later there was another," said policeman Ali Mohammed, who was near the scene of the blasts.

"Casualties are feared but we are still checking the situation."
