Syria's President Assad reshuffles Cabinet: State media

DAMASCUS (AFP) - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad appointed six new Cabinet ministers on Thursday, the official Sana news agency reported, in a Cabinet reshuffle targeting mainly economic portfolios.

Mr Assad replaced the ministers of the economy and external trade, industry, internal trade, higher education, tourism, and appointed a minister without portfolio, the agency said.
