The Kachalka outdoor gym, on the banks of the Dnieper River in Kiev, Ukraine, was established in the 1970s and now contains around 200 makeshift training machines, mostly made from scrap metal.

The gym has enjoyed popularity with inhabitants of the Ukrainian capital for more than 40 years.
