ADEN (AFP) - Forces loyal to Yemeni President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi recaptured the international airport in his southern power base Aden early on Thursday, a security official said.

Troops of the 39th Armoured Brigade, who are allied to the Shi'ite Houthi militia that controls the capital Sanaa, pulled out of the airport just a day after seizing it, the official said.
