LONDON – “US Enters War With Iran”. That was the banner headline of The New York Times, America’s most influential newspaper, less than an hour after the US attacked Iran’s nuclear installations.
But that is not the view of US President Donald Trump, who believes the bombing he authorised – and especially the apparent destruction of Fordow, Iran’s top and, until now, the country’s most impregnable nuclear site – should not signify America’s entry into any war.
