Chinese artist Ai Weiwei taking pictures with university students in Gaza City on Thursday during his visit to the Gaza Strip for his upcoming documentary on the refugee crisis in the Middle East.

Mr Ai has taken a personal interest in the thousands of refugees and migrants who have risked their lives to reach Europe, only to find border crossings closed to them.
