RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned an attack by two Palestinian men in a Jerusalem synagogue which killed four people on Tuesday.

"The presidency condemns the attack on Jewish worshippers in their place of prayer and condemns the killing of civilians no matter who is doing it," his office said in a statement to Reuters.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Mr Abbas of inciting deadly violence in Jerusalem.
