WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States and Turkey are to send a joint military team to Ankara next week for follow-up talks on fighting militants, a US official said on Thursday.
Two senior US envoys "discussed several measures to advance the military line of effort against" the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Turkish capital on Thursday and noted "that a joint military planning team will visit Ankara early next week to follow up in military-to-military channels," State Department spokesman Jen Psaki said.
