Lebanese Hizbollah said to be opening front against Israel on Syria's Golan Heights, without Damascus' knowledge

Israel appears to be preparing for action against the Lebanese Hizbollah militia which is opening up a new front against the Jewish state on Syria's Golan Heights without the knowledge of the regime in Damascus.

The Israeli army has compiled a list titled "Top Secret Until Release" - made available to The Sunday Times and three other dailies - which contains names and photos of men it claims are members of a new Hizbollah combat unit. Their sole task is to open a new front against Israel on behalf of Iran. Israel therefore views these men as its mortal enemy, which must be stopped at any price.
