WASHINGTON - The United States' wide sanctions against Iran, formally unveiled on Monday (Nov 5) in Washington, will hurt the country.
But Iran has options, because of its longstanding ties with Russia and China. And most importantly, the regime, which is the target of the sanctions, is unlikely to cave in to pressure and change its behaviour, as demanded by Washington, any time soon.
