India moves to raise profile in Middle East with 'the other Quad': Analysts

NEW DELHI - A new grouping bringing together India, Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United States - widely referred to here as "the other Quad" - is expected to give New Delhi higher visibility in the Middle East, say analysts.

Formed last month, members agreed to look at cooperation on infrastructure projects in transportation, technology and maritime security, among others.
