A fire broke out yesterday in a tower near the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa - the world's tallest building - and burned for several hours. The blaze erupted in a residential complex under construction, near a hotel that was ravaged by fire on New Year's Eve in 2015, the authorities said.
