VATICAN CITY (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet Pope Francis at the Vatican on Dec 2, Italian news agency ANSA reported on Saturday.
"Pope Francis will receive Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu in an audience on Dec 2," the agency said, citing "well-informed Vatican sources".
At Mr Netanyahu's first meeting with Pope Francis, the two leaders are expected to discuss nuclear talks with Iran and peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
Mr Netanyahu's office had previously said the Premier would be meeting with Pope Francis in October, but the visit did not take place, reportedly due to time constraints.
