"I paid a bribe to collect a death certificate; no freedom from corruption even in death."

Tales of petty corruption in India fill the ipaidabribe.com website.

It asks citizens to share their experiences with bribery in a bid to change the system through awareness and transparency.

According to Transparency International, 54 per cent of Indian citizens say they paid a bribe in 2010, the year the site started.

The website has attracted global attention.

A dozen countries are now using it, including Pakistan, Greece, Hungary and Kenya.
