Spain unveils new Cabinet

The new Spanish government is set to officially name Cabinet members today, with several key names leaked yesterday, including the foreign and budget ministers. The Socialists replaced the People's Party as the country's leaders last Friday after Parliament passed a no-confidence motion against former prime minister Mariano Rajoy over a slew of corruption cases.

New high-tech oncology facility

A state-of-the-art regional oncology centre, being opened at the research hub Biopolis today, aims to provide imaging, treatment and clinical informatics technologies to help address the region's growing number of cancer patients. The Advanced Medicine Imaging Centre will also promote cross-border collaboration and research, and hold frequent workshops and symposiums for medical professionals.

German firm opens new R&D centre

German firm Continental will be opening its new research and development (R&D) centre today. Its third in Singapore, it marks its growth in Asia and its commitment in Singapore. The new centre has smart tech features and futuristic decor.
