LONDON - The United States and Russia are planning to hold bilateral talks early in the new year, in a bid to avert a potential Russian military intervention in Ukraine.
"We're prepared to engage diplomatically through multiple channels," US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told a press conference. "I think you'll see relatively early in the new year engagements in all of those areas, to see if we can advance the differences diplomatically," he added.
