Forum relevant despite absence of notable leaders like Trump and Xi, says its founder

DAVOS - American President Donald Trump will not be there and neither will Chinese leader Xi Jinping, British Prime Minister Theresa May and French President Emmanuel Macron.

But there will be other world leaders trekking up the Swiss mountains to the town of Davos for this year's World Economic Forum (WEF), which starts on Tuesday (Jan 22) and runs till Friday.
