Spain's political uncertainty likely to endure after polls

Spain's general election today is one of the most unpredictable in the country's modern history, with latest opinion polls showing that an astonishing 40 per cent of voters are still undecided.

Chances are high that the ballots will fail to break the political stalemate that has long plagued Spain, which is holding its third general election in just four years.
