BRAN, ROMANIA (Reuters) - A brother and sister from Canada are the first overnight guests for some 70 years to spend a night at Dracula's castle in Transylvania, Romania, after winning a contest run by vacation rental marketplace Airbnb.

The Bran Fortress in Romania, situated in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, was the model for Dracula's castle in Bram Stoker's novel. It was owned by the Hapsburg royal family until they were expelled by Romania's communist regime after World War II. The fortress was returned to the family in 2006
