Several hundred thousand at Chechnya anti-Charlie Hebdo rally

MOSCOW (AFP) - Several hundred thousand people on Monday joined a state-organised rally in the Chechen capital Grozny against cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, with Russia's interior ministry putting the number at 800,000.

"More than 800,000 people took part in the event in the centre of Grozny," the ministry said.
