Some 3,200 people strip off and get painted in maritime hues for Spencer Tunick's latest art installation in the UK.

UNITED KINGDOM (Reuters) - Artist Spencer Tunick's latest art installation involved around 3,200 people, completely nude, and painted in shades of nautical blue.

The New York-based artist went to work in Hull in northern England for the big event, inspired by the city's maritime history.

Hull will be the UK's official City of Culture next year which appears have influenced some of those who took part.
