New leader, same Gordian knot that is Brexit

The contest to replace Mrs Theresa May as Britain's prime minister is in full swing after she formally resigned yesterday as leader of the ruling Conservative Party.

There are plenty of candidates vying for the post yet not one appears able to outline a viable strategy to resolve Britain's paralysing debate about the country's membership of the EU.
