British Prime Minister Theresa May has appealed to her ruling Conservative Party to keep faith with her as leader, and support her in the final stretch of negotiations for Britain's departure from the European Union.

Speaking on Wednesday at the conclusion of the Conservatives' annual conference in the city of Birmingham, Mrs May warned her audience to stop squabbling about the terms of Brexit.
