Three people were killed and 34 injured yesterday when a "mentally unbalanced" man drove an SUV into a crowded pedestrian street in the southern Austrian city of Graz, a local official said. Witnesses said the vehicle hurtled into one of the main pedestrian shopping streets. The man, 26, has been detained, Governor Hermann Schuetzenhoefer said, according to the BBC. Regional police chief Josef Klamminger ruled out a terror motive.
