BERLIN - Job numbers are picking up in Europe as Covid-19 seems to have been curbed everywhere, but the pace of recovery in the labour market can vary among countries.

While those dependent on tourism such as Italy and Spain remain cautious about a resurgence that could ruin their crucial summer business, exporting nations like Germany, France or the Netherlands have adopted a more robust outlook for the future.
