France prosecutor requests dropping Arafat death probe

NANTERRE, France (AFP) - A French prosecutor said on Tuesday there was no case to answer regarding the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, whose widow alleges he was poisoned.

Arafat died near Paris in November 2004 and his widow lodged a case in 2012 at a court in Nanterre, north of the capital.
