LONDON – The European Union has published a list of critical technologies which may be at risk from global rivals and which officials now wish to protect.
The European Commission – the EU’s executive arm – announced it would start compiling risk assessments on four critical technology areas: advanced semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and biotechnologies.
