Polish Navy personnel marching at a welcome ceremony for Chinese Navy ships in the port of Gdynia in Poland yesterday. Three Chinese naval vessels - Jinan, a destroyer; Yiyang, a multi-role frigate; and Qiandaohu, a replenishment ship - sailed into Gdynia for the Chinese Navy's first visit to Poland in a move to develop friendly relations. The ships are part of a task force which recently completed an anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden. The vessels are currently on a five-month tour of seaports worldwide and have already visited Sudan, Egypt, Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
