Britain's PM race: Fact-free, devoid of practical details

The British government has now approved a detailed timetable for the succession to Prime Minister Theresa May, who is resigning and retiring from politics.

Ballot papers for the selection of a new prime minister have been sent out to the approximately 160,000 rank-and-file members of the ruling Conservative Party - the only ones who will decide the matter.
