Belgium records first coronavirus death

BRUSSELS (REUTERS) - Belgium's health ministry reported on Wednesday (March 11) the first coronavirus death in the country, Belga news agency said citing a statement.

The government statement said the patient was 90 years old.

Belgium has recorded more than 260 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, which has killed more than 4,300 people and infected around 120,000 worldwide.
