Breaking with all established diplomatic protocol, US President Donald Trump has waded into Britain's domestic politics by revealing his preference over who should become the country's next prime minister.
Mr Trump, who arrives in Britain tomorrow for a three-day state visit, said he considers Mr Boris Johnson, a former foreign secretary, an "excellent" successor to Prime Minister Theresa May, who recently announced her resignation.
